Hopping 4 A Cure, Inc. ("Hopping 4 A Cure," "we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs Recess Olympics and the website recessolympics.org. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, phone number and message when you fill out a contact, newsletter, chapter or volunteer form.
Donation information. Donations are processed by trusted third parties such as Givebutter and PayPal. We receive your name, email, gift amount and any note you include. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
Automatic information. Like most websites, we collect basic usage data (pages visited, browser and device type, approximate location) through cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to you, send donation receipts and event updates, run our events, chapters and scholarship program, and improve our website. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us operate (website hosting, email, payment processing), with event partners when you register for a co-hosted event, when required by law, or with your permission.

Emails and texts

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any message, or reply STOP to any text message.

Children's privacy

Our events welcome kids, but this website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A parent or guardian handles event registration for minors. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
